Modifying the “Banking Sector” to “Banking & Financial Services Sector”

Palestine securities Exchange approved modifying the name of “Banking Sector” to “Banking & Financial Services Sector”. This came in prelusion to the future, where the PSE has recognized 5 major operations sectors such as; banking, insurance and services without identifying a sector that is collective to all financial services. According to this modification, it is now possible to include any potential listed company from financial securities, Real Estate Mortgage and Leasing in the modified sector, in which already includes banks and any other potential banks for listing.
