Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company (BPC) doubles its Profits
According to audited financial statements for the Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company, the company’s sales during the first 6 months of this year have increased by 27%.Reaching almost 5.2 million JD compared to the 4.1 million of the first six months of 2006.The company’s profits before taxes for the first semester of this year have increased according to the company’s statement yesterday, hitting 212% and valuing 1.46 million JD. Note that pre-tax profits for 2006 were 1.55 million JD. This period has been marked as an increase in the company’s exports, especially to Algeria, as well as raising the value of their investments from $600.000 to $1 million. The company is working to increase production facilities to conform to the requirements of good international manufacturing as it seeks through investment to open new export markets.
