The national Insurance co. (NIC) announces its financial disclosure for the first quarter of 2007 and sends it to the PSE. In the last three months of this year, NIC had earned $ 1.35 million (before taxes), compared to $ 0.65 million for the quarter a year ago. The company’s assets rose from $ 46.6 to $ 46.7 million and its liability declined from $ 35.85 to $ 35.76 million. The shareholders equities, on the other hand, rose from $ 10.76 to $ 10.92 million.
