Alrafah Microfinance Bank (AMB) and PALTEL Launch a Computer Fund Portfolio

The PALTEL group and AMB announced the launch of a Computer Fund Portfolio which seeks to provide a computer for every home. This was announced during a press conference which was held yesterday at the PALTEL Ramallah headquarters. The press conference was attended by Dr. Abelmalik Aljaber the executive chairman of PALTEL and Talal Nasser Eldin chairman of the AMB. PALTEL has contributed to $1 million while AMB contributed to $2 million for the local start of the project without any external support. Aljaber pointed to the attention of a communications process to pay integrated human development, including elements of technological development in Palestine . Aljaber said, “The series has proved that through multilateral initiatives and projects we work to push towards supporting various sectors linked in the technology sector and information systems ,it has built computer laboratories for many health and educational institutions and also non-governmental institutions which focus on youth category and those with special needs and socially marginalized groups in order to boost technological development among members of the Palestinian community. Aljaber stressed that the group is part of the national duty; they constitute a key technology in Palestine and seek to develop a view of Palestine on the global map, along with the technologically advanced countries of the world. He said,”Now through this fund every citizen could acquire a computer line at home easily and by obtaining a loan from AMB with up to 48 installments and no interest.” Aljaber pointed out that the initiative comes as a part of a series of initiatives launched by the group in the belief that the building of a sophisticated Palestine is part of the national fabric. He said,”PALTEL launched several initiatives to provide support through the partnership of BIKI and the support leaders and creators that assisted them in creating  opportunities for starting and the best results are achieved through the promotion of creativity, with the aim of building a generation educated in sync with the evolution of technology, and thus contributing to the literacy illiteracy in the areas of technological and scientific development.
For his part, Nasir al-Din pointed out that the Convention will provide loans of any citizen to acquire computer equipment at competitive prices, and soft installments, and without the bank got any benefits, pointing out that the agreement was aimed at increasing the proportion force of the Internet, and deepen their applications in practical life and academic, and enhance the capacity of Palestinian national institutions to promote the Palestinian society, leading to advanced stages of Science and Technology.
He said Nasir al-Din : The Microfinance Bank has been established to provide integrated banking services sectors limited income, and the Palestinian people of all classes and groups, through the provision of loans for small-scale projects to help people improve their living conditions, and starting new projects to serve the Palestinian society and the increase of the development process in Palestine. .
Nasser Eddin said that the idea of establishing a fund computer was initiated by a group of PALTEL and AMB, and has totally with the objectives of the World development, and the program will work at the level of individuals, unions and bodies of hand, and study the needs of specific groups such as students, associations and village councils on the other hand.
