The Monetary Authority determines types of commissions, fees and prices of banking services.
The Monetary authority announced that it recently conducted a comprehensive study on the types of commissions and fees compared to those levied by banks as for banking services provided. It was stated in a press conference yesterday that the study included countless types of services provided by the bank and those that are specific components of the cost associated with providing the service and an attempt estimate the size of the cost for certain services submitted by banks especially for younger leaders with limited transactions and it was confirmed that this measure comes in the light of the difficult conditions experienced by the people, especially those related to the financial economic side and the high levels of prices and unemployment rates.
