The Palestinian Islamic Bank affirms its commitment to the instructions from the Monetary Authority and the laws of Global Banking activities
The Board Chairman of the Palestinian Islamic Bank Mohammed Zakarneh assured the commitment of the bank regarding all of the Monetary Authority’s instructions which was referred to all banks relating to international laws of governing relations and bank transactions. In response to what was published on investigations initiated by the unit for combating money laundering in Israel on the transfer of funds to the bank through Israeli banks for the benefit of the executive power of the Hamas movement, Zakarneh stressed that the salaries paid to the executive last month "made a mistake what happened from the Ministry of Finance, The Department cooperated executive of Bank Palestinian Islamic immediately received instructions to stop these salaries. Zakarneh appealed news agencies "not promote rumors from here or there in order to harm the most important pillars of the national economy, namely, national banks."
He has insisted the bank board to continue the successes that have been achieved over the past six months despite the difficult circumstances surrounding the Palestine and cruelty.
