Dr.Jihad Alwazir the Palestinian Monetary Authority Chief stated that the tender of the Palestinian national payments system will be awarded during the coming August, and this system is considered one of the most important development projects in the PMA, where it will work on providing a quantum leap in the Banking System and the Palestinian economy, and will reduce the cash turnover to the minimum and also the collection of the cheques that will reflect positively on the economy, and it is expected to apply the system during 18 months . These statements came yesterday within the opening of training course regarding the macroeconomic policies in the headquarter of Palestine institute for finance and banking studies. Al Wazir said thanking the International Monetary Fund on its constant support to the PMA in the substantive area where Palestine had been one of the most countries that benefited from the fund"s support, and Al Wazir also mentioned the latest fund"s reports about the developments in the PMA that are considered examples models in the region
