Ramallah: "PADICO" organizes a seminar about the effects of the financial crisis on the Palestinian economy

Palestine Development & Investment Company had convened a seminar about the latest developments in the global financial crisis and its effects on the Palestinian economy. The seminar had been held in Grand Park Hotel under the title of "The impact of the global financial crisis on PADICO and Palestinian companies in general", in order to supplement the decision-makers with more information regarding the effects of the global financial crisis on the Palestinian economy. Dr.Samir Hleileh the CEO of PADICO had assured the importance of dialogue, discussion and experiences and knowledge exchange among the Palestinian private sector and official bodies, in order for proper planning to manage the crisis that is facing the Palestinian economy in general and the shareholding companies in particular. And said that" the repercussions of the global financial crisis on the Palestinian companies will remain within the overall impact on companies operating in the Arab world, and will be affected the same way but in varying degrees". The seminar falls in the context of the efforts of "PADICO" to provide an opportunity for decision makers, financiers and business leaders of the Palestinian private sector to clarify the outcome of current issues, where experts and specialists to answer questions and inquiries.
