Dubai Government allocates AED 18.3 Billion to Dubai World

Ittihad newspaper -Dubai government allocated 18.3 billion dirhams ($5 billion) to Dubai World on commercial basis, Al-Ittihad newspaper reported, citing an unidentified spokesman for the emirate’s Department of Finance. The funds, which will be used to help Dubai World finance its debt and operational costs, are part of the money received by Dubai from Abu Dhabi in December, the newspaper said
